TERRAIN at home

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Urban Outfitters, Inc. has its 4th brand. Terrain, is the 4th family member of Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, and now Terrain. Terrain opened just last month. Its only retail location right now is in Concordville, PA. Knowing the company, this store (like the others) will embrace the 'unimagined experience' when walking in the store. It even has a cafe! Luckily, if you are not near the new store, Terrain just opened their online website just last week. Go take a look.

It's starting to get cold outside. The fresh air is smelling like fall. And the layers are starting to multiple. After enduring the long summer days, you have to admit that it is a nice change to have it be overcased and the skies a blueish haze. Quite cozy and quite relaxing.
Welcome Fall, we are ready for you!

Feeling under the weather, I thought I would give you readers some fun sights to dive into and go explore. Sitting in bed most of the day I imagined what it would be like to live in these fun and corky spaces. Enjoy!

Wacky Wednesday

Exterior

This wacky space-saving house designed by the famous German Industrial Designer named Luigi Colan incorporates six square meter cylinders containing a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The cylinder rotates left or right bringing the room you want into view of the main living room. There’s a separate toilet and a small hallway, and everything is controlled with a remote.

The Difference....

There isn’t so much of a difference between fashion and interior design. I believe they both incorporate a thought process and a way to express oneself. Each piece or item has to fit like a glove.

Not being the only one moving into my own pad, but my friend and co-worker Greg (BR stylist) is also making the move. I have figured out, it is hard to be picky and cheap at the same time. Well, inexpensive- cheap to me sounds like I am not into quality. Quality out weighs quantity for sure.

Shortly I will be showing my own “abode” and what inspires me. But for now, I want to present how fashion and interior design can go hand and hand. There is a blog called  Coco+Kelley and one of the topics is called Rooms from the Runway. Each piece is inspired by one or the other. ENJOY!
