Monday December 7th, I was fortunate enough to cover not only the kick off VIP party at Tom Douglas' Palace Ballroom, but also modeled the appropriate attire (from one of the stylish boutiques in Seattle, The Finerie) for the up and coming Gala event, The Evening of Hope. This event will be held on February 6th, 2010, at the Fairmont Hotel. This year's honorees are Tom Douglas and Jackie Cross. Over the past twelve years, proceeds from The Evening of Hope event have benefited Northwest Aids, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Puget Sound Affiliate, Plymouth Housing Group, and now Pike Place Market Foundation. The Evening of Hope Gala has raised well over 3.7 million dollars for these deserving local charities.
